Day Two In Vista del Chula

In and out all day long at the VS house.

What Has Eight Paws And Four Eyes?

The two cats I’m watching for the next week.

Making Myself Comfortable In The South Bay

Arrived at Bryan and Heather’s to begin my week-long house-sitting stint in the Vista of Chula.

Mexican Followed By Apples

Went with my mom and Kimi to Bill and Beata’s house for a belated Mexican Christmas dinner and to play Apples to Apples.

Re-Tangled

Took my mom to go see Disney’s Tangled for my second time. Still think it may just become my favorite Disney movie. I’ll have to go back and watch Pinocchio again.

Neighbor’s Runoff = Second Suck Of The Day

Our neighbor across the street knocked on our door to let us know water was streaming down our driveway into the street. Turned out to be our next door neighbors who overfilled (on a cold, rainy day) their pool and the runoff poured into our side yard, out under a gate and down our driveway.

Car Difficulties Help Bring In The New Year

Had to drive one of our cars to our mechanic after my mom said it quit running whenever she put it in gear.

San Diego Shows Off Some Autos

Went to the San Diego Auto Show with José, Rodrigo and Victor. I was the other white meat. This was the funnest of all the SD Auto Shows I’d been to because it was more interactive than previous shows. I rode two electric bikes, was taken for a Jeep test drive over a torturous test course and got my picture taken with a top-heavy, hot chick. I mean model.

HAPPY NEW YEAR’S EVE!

Spent New Year’s Eve with the Tapias watching Shrek Forever After. And then, like a post-natal baby boy, watching a ball drop in Times Square.

Del Mar’s Holiday of Lights

Went with the Tapias to the Del Mar Fairgrounds’ 1.5 mile-long “Holiday of Lights” display for my very first time. It turned out to be a bit of a disappointment. We weren’t very close to the displays and wanting to take pictures was made more difficult with all the signs telling us not to stop. Plus they didn’t let us go around a second time. Some of the displays were cute, but most were a kind of weak. Best part was driving through a short lit tunnel, and that was just strings of non-animated lights. It wasn’t what we were expecting. At $14 per car, I wouldn’t recommend it.

One Last Video Hurray With Brenda

My last video chat of 2010.

Last Zoo Visit Of 2010

Got in my 28th and final San Diego Zoo trip for 2010 with the Tapias, Holdens, Chip and Stacey.

Fantastic Timelapse HDR Video Of Disneyland At Christmas

A Christmas Tour from Tours Departing Daily on Vimeo.

One Last 2010 SeaWorld Visit

Walked around a Christmas-decorated and very crowded SeaWorld one final (33rd) time this year with my mom. Fantastic southern California, blue sky winter kind of day. Got our picture taken with Santa in his cottage. Also bought a calendar since I don’t have enough yet.

Let Me Count The Days

Bought (in-store) and ordered (online) a buttload of calendars today to add to the ones I had already picked up for next year. Almost done. Thank the maker for half-price sales, free shipping and gift cards.
