Pablo Ramos Art

Received permission from Pablo Ramos to post his latest art piece based on a photo I took at Comic Con 2010. Thanks, Pablo! Great work.

Lunch With Old Friends

Had a mighty fine lunch with Sylvia and Lannie at Panera Bread in Chula Vista. (Thank you Bryan and Heather!)

Parting Shots

Final shots before leaving the comforts and mammals of Bryan and Heather’s abode.

Tedious Past Two Days

Spent the last two days of my house-sitting in Chula Vista working on extracting football players from 46 photos. Just as boring and tedious as it sounds. Missed a trip to the Zoo, another one to Old Town and at least three good meals because of it.

I Love Being A Nice Round Number

I was number 200 in purchasing the latest Groupon for discount tickets to the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center in Balboa Park.

A Princess, A Frog And Me

Finally watched Disney’s “The Princess and the Frog.” Only came out a year and a month ago. Started off kind of not sure for me, but slowly built and got better. Some parts seemed a bit too Disney, though. Music was really good. Backgrounds and some scenes were fantastic. Overall I liked it. Not great, but still well done and enjoyable.

Sitting, Day 5ive

No matter where I go, inside or outside of the house, I’m being watched…

In-N-Out Urge

Lunch at In-N-Out with the Tapias.

Old Ferry, Landing

Had a nice walk around the Old Ferry Landing on Coronado with the Tapia family.

Chula, Day Four

Officially past the halfway point of house-sitting.

First Zoo Visit Of The Year

Spent a few hours at the San Diego Zoo with the Holdens and their friend Bill from Kansas City.

First From The Mac App Store

Downloaded four apps from the newly launched Mac App Store: three free (Get Backup, WannaAudio and Solitaire) and one paid (Angry Birds).

Another Spectacular San Diego Sunset

From the Tapias’ backyard again.

Day The Third

Third day of house-sitting in Chula of the Vista kind.
