Centennial Of Naval Aviation

Spent the day at Coronado with Rodrigo watching the “Parade of Flight” as part of San Diego’s celebration of one hundred years of naval aviation.

Zoom Retry

Decided to try and see if my old telephoto lens, while still messed up from being dropped into a pool, would still be able to take decent photos. I had to work with the final shots in Photoshop a bit, but overall I wasn’t too displeased.

Rescuing A Hiker

Watched a Fire and Rescue helicopter land down in Rose Canyon beneath our house by the railroad tracks.  Then six emergency vehicles arrived on scene.
