Sylvia worked on a look for the baby animal prints I will be making for Tommy’s office while Lilo looked on and Stitch snoozed.

Lunch At Filippi’s In Little Italy

Met Sylvia for lunch downtown at Filippi’s Pizza Grotto in Little Italy, then walked to Solunto to pick up dessert.

Fence Repair Meeting

A estimator from San Diego Fence came out and met our landlady Linda here to take measurements for an estimate on repairing our backyard fence that was damaged in the recent storms.

Waldo’s, Was Woodies

Had an early dinner with the Tapias at Waldo’s Chili Dogs (used to be called Woodies Chili Dogs) in Clairemont Square.

The Seals Of Approval

Spent some time taking pictures of the seals at the Children’s Pool in La Jolla with all four Tapias.

Visiting Project Wildlife

Talked to Gabby Meadows, a volunteer down at Project Wildlife, a rescue and rehabilitation center for local wild animals. She put our minds at ease about what we’re doing to care for our Hummingbirds.

While having trouble sleeping I heard about a book promoted on C-SPAN (while audibly channel-surfing my TV) about Abraham Lincoln written by 56 scholars and historians. More Hummingbird Caretaking

Ozzie came by to drop off a heating lamp to help keep the Hummingbird chick warm overnight while the mother is gone.

Foursquare For Squares

Finally signed up for a Foursquare account, even though I don’t have a “smart” phone to check in with yet. (Be patient, my dearest iPhone 5.) Luckily I can still do that it a web browser when I get home. (My first check-in was from the Zoo. Got a newbie badge for it!)

Koalapalooza Tweet-Up At The Zoo

Spent a drizzly morning at the San Diego Zoo for a group tweet-up of 34 people. As they are celebrating Koalapalooza we learned about Kookaburras, Wombats, Red Tree Kangaroos, Echidnas and of course, Koalas.

Storm Damage

Part of our backyard fence which, as we had already told the landlady about before, has been falling apart for a few months now, finally partially collapsing after last night’s storm. Such a beautiful view!

Hummingbird Feeding

Added to and reinforced the plastic shield around the the Hummingbird nest to protect it from tonight’s rain storm and took pictures of it feeding it’s one remaining chick.

Finally Back At SeaWorld Again

First time walking around SeaWorld with my mom since the beginning of January. Ran into some acquaintances and saw some new non-aquatic animals in the old Clydesdale barn.
