Hummingbird Eggs In The Morning
There are at least two eggs in the Hummingbird nest outside my bathroom window. Can’t wait to see the hatched chicks. I’ve never seen baby Hummingbirds.

Dangerous Time Of Year
Picked up four boxes of Girl Scout Cookies today; two Thin Mints and two Samoas. The Lemon Chalet Cremes are not mine, I swear.

Handled Some Viennese’s Ball
For the second year in a row I captained the kitchen duty at the San Diego Vintage Dance Society‘s Viennese Nights Grand Ball in Balboa Park. Started out a bit nightmarish but steadily got better throughout the evening. Who knew that upper-crusters could be so ravenous?

Walking Dogs And Then Chicken
Had a great walk with Rodrigo, Sylvia, Stitch and Lilo at Fiesta Island on yet another beautiful San Diego day. Then went to Chick-fil-A by the Sports Arena for a very tasty lunch. Only downside was that “Disney on Ice” let out just as we were finishing our meal.

Bagels With Heather
Met Heather this morning for a bagel breakfast at Panera Bread in Chula Vista. I tried their new French Toast Bagel breakfast sandwich. It was pretty good. Not OMG fantastic, but tasty and not too filling.

Baby Hippo, Not Even A Day Old
Went straight to the San Diego Zoo as soon as it opened this morning to see the Hippo calf that was born yesterday morning. Met with Mary and Diana and had lunch there as well.
