AOL Mail Down

Have not been able to access my AOL email since yesterday afternoon.  (I know, who uses AOL any more?) Website says it’s a maintenance issue. I’m having serious doubts about that.

Not New Books Again!

While out shopping for bird feeders at Big Lots, came across these three hardcover books, each costing only $3.00. Had to pick them up because I have no time to read them nor room to keep them. Didn’t get the feeders there either.

Feeders Are For The Birds

Bought and put up some new bird feeders, two to replace one that was falling apart for the regular birds, and one for the newly nesting Hummingbird outside my bathroom window.

Starbucks With My Mom

Went to have some coffee and share a blueberry muffin with my mom today, just to get out of the house on such a beautiful day.

Nachos, Parcheesi And A Walk

Had a nachos lunch, played Parcheesi for the first time in my life and went for a walk with Sylvia, the dogs and the kids.

Nest For Humming

Over the last few days a Hummingbird has been building a nest just outside of my bathroom window, and I am not worried about being judged.

The additional memory I ordered from OWC arrived today, and after installing it in less than five minutes, bumped up my computer’s RAM from 4GB to 8GB. Angry Birds, you have been warned.

New Groupon Deal I Can Actually Use

Purchased today’s Groupon deal for a guided tour of the locally-famous Marston House and Gardens.

Alone At The Zoo

Had a wonderful day by myself at the San Diego Zoo before having a secret meeting there with a new friend.

Dessert Followed Lunch

Tried the newly opened Sprinkles Cupcakes, made famous with their first location in Beverly Hills.

Fishy Lunch With The Ladies

Had a terrific lunch eating fish tacos and listening to two moms talk about the tribulations of dealing with kids.

TRON: LEGACY

Finally took myself to go see Disney’s TRON: Legacy in digital 3D. Visually it was stunning, just as I had expected. Especially in 3D. Other than Jeff Bridges and Michael Sheen, the acting was only passable. I don’t completely blame the actors, though. Some of the dialogue was just embarrassing. The story, while bouncing around …

Hilariously Dramatic Voiceover

Gotta love the accurately read misspellings.

J Street Marina

Walked and talked with the Tapias down at the J Street Marina in Chula Vista on a perfect San Diego afternoon.
