Puttin’ Up Christmas Lights At Home

Helped my mom put up our usual strings of outdoor Christmas lights.

Burgers With Tapias By Five Guys

Met the entire Tapia family, including the doggies, at Five Guys Burgers at Liberty Station in Point Loma. Then afterwards walked around Liberty Park taking pictures of them and of the memorials they have for lost submariners. Never even knew they were there.

Starship Groove by Animusic

I will forever be amazed at how cool the music videos that Animusic makes are.

And Then There Were Four

Added a new Foodspotting entry:

Sad Day In The Kingdom

Had to begrudgingly take Brenda to the airport for her return flight back to Austin.

A Day With Brenda And Bruce

Spent the entire day with Brenda, who was visiting from Texas, and her dad Bruce, including a trip to Disneyland.

I’m A Foodspotter!

Signed up as a foodspotter after Harriet sent an email telling me about it. I immediately created an account and posted three foodspottings.

My Day With Sylvia

Spent a good chunk of the day with Sylvia, running errands, picking up lunch, Christmas decorating and just getting things done.

My Photo, His Art

Got an email from an artist admirer named Pablo Ramos who told me he used one of my Comic Con photos as inspiration for a piece he’s working on.

Tapias’ Xmas Lights!

Climbed to new old heights to place the Tapias’ colored Christmas lights along their roof. From there I could see from Tijuana to the Los Coronados Islands to downtown San Diego to the giant water tank looming above their backyard.

Belated Birthday Dinner For Ozzie

Had the family over for dinner to celebrate Ozzie’s birthday from last Tuesday.

Tapias’ Tasty Tamale Treats

Spent the whole day making, taking pictures of and eating four different kinds of tamales; beef, chile and cheese, pineapple and raisin, and chocolate chip and walnut.

December Nights Concert In Balboa Park

Went down to take some pictures of  Nóri Kovács, a singer visiting from Hungary, and four folk dancers including my sister Beata, during a concert and performance of traditional Hungarian songs and dances. Afterwards she signed a CD (Mondanék én valamit) for me.
