Brenda received my photo on canvas of Musashi for her birthday today. She actually started crying when she opened it while on the phone with me. But crying in a good way. I also sent her two completely silly birthday videos because I felt they were necessary.

Wow. Touching and disturbing ALL AT THE SAME TIME! How do you do it???

Hey, friend, Lisa. Not sure if you mean how did I create the videos or how can I make them touching and disturbing at the same time. Answering the first part, the JibJab video was easy enough although I had to screen capture it using SnapzPro X cuz I didn’t want to pay for a year’s membership to personalize and keep the video. The personal video was made using Photo Booth which has built-in effects and which used to come free on all Macs. I just had to edit out a little bit of the beginning where I looked down to see where my mouse was. That editing was done using iMove, which also comes free on all Macs. (See a pattern here?) The music was just a YouTube video that was playing through my speakers while I recorded my hideous gesicht.
As far as the second part, “touching and disturbing” is my life’s motto. And I don’t mean disturbing someone because I touch them.
