In the spirit of the season, I scanned a bunch of slides today from our family visit to Santa’s Village back in 1963 and posted them on a Facebook page devoted to its history. I can see myself obviously having a ton of fun at such an exciting and memorable place for a young child. Bummer that I can’t remember a thing from our visit.

I remember almost nothing as well, except in a general way … like it was a lot of fun, and that they had rides and real reindeer, and wonderful little buildings where I wanted to live and play. Thanks for scanning and sharing these!

I really wish I could remember anything. I feel like I’m missing out on a part of my childhood. I’m sure we have more pictures because I know we have some with Mami in them. She is in not one of the slides.
