Had a really good photo day at the San Diego Zoo with Mary and Diana. Got some fantastically lucky shots of Funani the Hippo and her recently born son Adhama. Also had the best meal ever at the Zoo at Albert’s Restaurant, contrasting with the worst the last time I visited. Ran into an old friend as well. All around a very satisfying visit.

It was a great visit, but with a horrible meal. Don’t ever order the BBQ Rib Tips at Sydney’s Grill (http://www.foodspotting.com/reviews/649675). Just awful. But this Tiger Prawn/Ravioli dish (http://www.foodspotting.com/reviews/680534) more than made up for it. Absolutely delicious. I would order this again any time. Bit pricey though.
