Had a brief Google video chat with Brenda this evening. She had a rough day at school. I didn’t help by telling her about Sumar dying at SeaWorld. Lesson learned.

Now all the signs I saw at SeaWorld this morning make sense. The Skywalks being chained off. All the trainers congregating in one area with a large net. Barricades going up behind us as we walked past Shamu Stadium. And them announcing over the PA system that the 12:30 Shamu Show was being canceled. Bad …

One Lap Around SeaWorld
Walked around SeaWorld once with my mom today. Watched a couple of Killer Whales being trained. Little did we know that two hours after we watched them one of the Killer Whales, Sumar, would die.
