Spent the entire day checking online updates on the Las Conchas Fire threatening to enter Los Alamos, New Mexico and tweeting, posting,commenting and relaying real time information to my brother. He later was able to go down and help out at two of the evacuation shelters. Fire acreage: 43,000

Our neighbor across the street knocked on our door to let us know water was streaming down our driveway into the street. Turned out to be our next door neighbors who overfilled (on a cold, rainy day) their pool and the runoff poured into our side yard, out under a gate and down our driveway.
