While walking around SeaWorld I also got to join in with the Parade of the Flamingos.

Penguin Experience Tour at SeaWorld

Went on the behind-the-scenes Penguin Experience Tour with Lisa and her daughter Megan. It was my fifth time taking this tour and it was just as amazing as the other four times. We met penguin #0282 which was a juvenile male. Cathie was our excellent tour guide and Carrie was the keeper who presented to …

Had an all-American burger dinner and then took some blurry, hand-held firework shots through the overcast.

World Cup Quarterfinal Matches

Watched Germany beat Argentina 4-0 (so long and good riddance Maradona), and Spain beat Paraguay 1-0 in another very questionably refereed  match.

Another Day at the San Diego Zoo

Spent the day at the San Diego Zoo (my 16th so far this year), most of it with Heather and her daughter Lauren. Here are my 4 four favorite animal photos as well as some lunch pictures. There’s Frank, the under two year old Western Lowland Gorilla, a Flamingo chick and it’s mom, an Orangutan with a …
