President Obama flew into Marine Corps Air Station Miramar in San Diego today for a short trip over to La Jolla for a $5,000 a person ($10,000 for a photo op) fund raiser. His motorcade drove west on Hwy 52 then south on I-5. The highway patrol actually stopped traffic on both freeways to allow his motorcade free access. I was able to get some shots of the motorcade as it transitioned between the two freeways.
No matter how many times I become aware of political financing, it always sickens me to see how much money gets thrown around and wasted by all parties.
