Watched the series premiere of “Ringer” with Sarah Michelle Gellar. Wasn’t expecting to care for it much since it was on the CW network but I knew she would do a very good job with her character. Turns out I thought it was actually pretty good (despite some cheesy fake boating shots). There were so many moments when she spoke certain lines that she reminded me of Buffy. And when she was fighting the man (minor spoiler alert!) who was hired to kill her, I half expected her to bring out a stake and dust him. Even the very first shot of the show at night with a close-up of stone gargoyles took me back. It was good to see her on the small screen again. I think will keep watching.
