Even though it rained a bit, I had a great time at today’s San Diego Zoo<\/a> tweet-up during their Festival of Flight<\/a> celebration. We got to feed loud and finicky Flamingoes and were presented with a Speckled Owl (which we got to pet) and a very blue Macaw (which we were not allowed to get very close to). Got a chance to spend some time with the Zoo’s social media person, Matt, to talk to him about the Zoo’s tumblr<\/a> page, as well as talked to Rick<\/a>, the Zoo’s Animal Ambassador, about some of the other animals there at the Zoo.<\/p>\n
