While having trouble sleeping I heard about a book promoted on C-SPAN (while audibly channel-surfing my TV) about Abraham Lincoln<\/a> written by 56 scholars and historians. They mentioned a coupon code (lincoln) for the $30 hardcover edition that brought the price down to $5. So of course I ordered it. Yep, I succumbed to a history infomercial. \u00a0(Grammar Girl<\/a> says “an history” is incorrect.) I said succumbed.<\/p>\n
