Finally took myself to go see Disney’s TRON: Legacy<\/a> in digital 3D. Visually it was stunning, just as I had expected. Especially in 3D. Other than Jeff Bridges<\/a> and Michael Sheen<\/a>, the acting was only passable. I don’t completely blame the actors, though. Some of the dialogue was just embarrassing. The story, while bouncing around between too simple, too convenient or too convoluted, seemed almost to be made up as they went along. But Olivia Wilde<\/a> looks pretty darn good in black AND 3D. The soundtrack fit very well, and most of the time I didn’t even notice it. I did enjoy the many nods to Syd Mead<\/a>‘s original designs. Overall I’m glad I saw it. Was not a waste of money. But I expected better.<\/p>\n
