My mom and I went down the street to spend some time with our friend, Jane<\/a>, who broke her ankle walking her dog, Bella, on Christmas Day. She’s still going to be in a cast for quite a while, and hating every minute of it. An actor friend of hers, Neil, was also visiting for a short while. I never get tired of looking out her living room window with a view towards downtown. We stayed until her friend and neighbor, Stacey, showed up fifteen minutes late for her turn at an hour-long visit.<\/p>\n
