As much as I hate what politics has turned into, world-wide, not just in the US, I created an account on the White House website to be able to sign one specific petition<\/a> asking President Obama to veto SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Act), PIPA (Protect IP Act) or any other Internet censoring laws that Congress might ignorantly try to pass. Plenty of other, more intelligent people than I have already written a plethora of reasons why these are such dangerous and foolhardy bills, so I won’t go into details here. This is a life and death battle between Internet users and ignorant politicians.<\/p>\n
