Ball with Steam Powered Giraffe"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Went down to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sandiego.gov\/park-and-recreation\/parks\/balboa\/balboaparkclub.shtml\" target=\"_blank\">Balboa Park Club<\/a> to attend the H.M.S. (Holiday Masquerade Steampunk) Ball put on by my sister&#8217;s dance group, <a href=\"http:\/\/waltznsuch.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Waltz &amp; Such<\/a>. \u00a0Took some pictures but mainly stood around or sat watching the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Steampunk\" target=\"_blank\">steampunk<\/a> participants do all the dancing. Enjoyed <a href=\"http:\/\/www.steampoweredgiraffe.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Steam Powered Giraffe<\/a>, one of my favorite local bands, who I first was introduced to of all places at the San Diego Zoo.
