Picked up some great barbecue from Phi’s BBQ with the Tapias and had dinner in Chula Vista, followed by a late night viewing of the scary movie Insidious. The food was awesome as usual. Captured the San Diego Salute flying formation team as they flew their Beechcraft T-34s over our house this afternoon. They were doing their annual Mt. Soledad Veterans Memorial ceremony fly-over.

Our second to last Monarch emerged today, having smartly waited until the day after our rain storm. It was reborn healthy and ready to take life on in its new form.
